We freight to all over the world
The best logistic company, FAST and SAFELY!
Freight Gibraltar Ltd is one of the newest international freight forwarders to operate out of Bangladesh. It was established in 2017 by professionals with long and distinguished careers in international trade and public policy as a one-stop solution for all international shipping and logistics needs. Thus Freight Gibraltar Ltd provides a comprehensive range of services ranging from customs brokerage to complex project logistics which it manages with its excellent global networks, a solid grounding in the local (Bangladeshi) ecosystem and a dedicated and highly skilled team.
Freight Gibraltar intends to be a logistics manager to its partners. In today’s competitive environment, supply chain solutions are required to blend lower costs with a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness in order to provide a competitive edge to shippers. These require value addition and the implementation of best practices at every stage of the international trade process. At Freight Gibraltar, experienced and highly skilled professionals design such integrated logistics solutions for companies so that they can focus on their core businesses.
Md. Nasir Uddin is chairman of the board of Freight Gibraltar Ltd. In a career spanning over 40 years, he has been involved in international trade and shipping in both the private and public sectors.
Md. Nasir Uddin began his career as a cargo officer with British Airways. Then he joined the Customs, Excise and VAT department of the Government of Bangladesh and rose up in the ranks to become commissioner of Chittagong, Dhaka and Benapole customs houses. In these stints, he has supervised the activities of the customs department at Chittagong sea port, Dhaka airport and Benapole land port, the three major trade arteries of this country. Md. Nasir Uddin retired from government service as a member of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) of the Government of Bangladesh.
Since then, he has served as Senior Trade Facilitation Specialist with BTFA, an USAID funded project in collaboration with NBR for trade facilitation in Bangladesh. This project aims to automate clearance procedures, make trade information transparent, develop a national single window and improve supply chain security for the benefit of all stakeholders. He has also, in the past, helped design the regulatory framework for freight forwarding in the country and awarded licenses to many of the major players in the industry today.
In his free time he indulges in studying and optimizing transport networks (as an academic exercise only!) and dreams of radical transport solutions like airships and hyperloops.
